Stuff coming up!

So.. it's been a semi busy semi boring time for me currently! I've mostly been working out, and just gaming. I also do a ton TON TON TON of laundry. Being a house wife has its perks, but I'm starting to get tired of the smell of laundry detergent! :(!

So the reason I have been working so much is because San Diego Comic Con is just around the corner! In under 2 weeks, I'll be on a plane going to California for the first time. Recently a lot of my friends have moved to California, and Sam and I have been talking about possibly moving out there.. well, pretty much to somewhere on the West Coast! As much as I enjoy living in Florida, it would be nice for a change!

So in preparation for SDCC, I have also been reading a ton of comics! I went to my local library and found an amazing stash of X-Men comics! My sister has always been a huge X-Men fan, so she squealed rather loudly at the array that I checked out. My only issue is that I kind of just grab whatever looks interesting to me.. This can be a bit problematic, since the X-Men world is ALL OVER THE FREAKING PLACE! Seriously.. o_o!

I am semi melancholy about this whole thing though.. It might be the last event I go to as a Cadette! T_T!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have already begun taking applications for the next semester, but this whole thing has really been a complete blast! I really enjoy hanging out in the Frag Dolls IRC channel. Even though they all can be a bit catty at times, it's still a blast. <3 I've met a ton of really cool ppl through this all, and I'm so thankful for the experience!

In other news.. I'm pretty sure I have a clogged tear duct. This will teach me to sleep with my eye make up on.. -__-! It hurts, and it's a little swollen! I've been putting a warm compress on it every couple of hours. I'm hoping it'll go away soon! :D

So here I am.. at 7:25AM writing a blog. I seem to always write blogs at weird hours. I really have no idea why my sleeping habits have been so funky lately. I really should be doing chores.. and going to the gym..

I ate like 12 pieces of bacon for breakfast yesterday.

So here I am, bright and early on a Saturday morning (It's about 9AM now).. and I do mean early! I woke up at 3:30AM for some reason! My room was really hot, and there is nothing more distasteful then waking up covered in sweat. I instantly ran into the kitchen and poured myself a big ass glass of grape fruit juice. About 10 minutes later I decided this was a terrible idea, and then drank a big ass glass of water. I would just like to say that after drinking grape fruit juice, water tastes TERRIBLE! Ugh. It's been like 5 hours since then, and I still can't forget the taste of that bad. :(!

Well.. Instead of rambling on for 20 minutes, I thought I would probably write something video game related. Lately I have been playing a ton of different games, but mostly Modern Warfare 2, DJ Hero, and Magic: The Gathering - Duels of the Planewalkers (XBOX).

All of these games have a tendency to incite the rageful me, but I keep coming back for more! :(! I have been especially digging on the Magic the Gathering title. I used to play a ton of Magic around the Ravnica block, and then I took a bit of a break. Magic: The Gathering is a very VERY expensive hobby! So after I got asked to mess around with the 360 version of the game, I was a bit cautious. I don't really know if I have the funds to throw down on a bunch of digital cards! :(!!! But the nice thing is, you actually get new cards by just winning. :D! The only real downfall to this though, is that I can't really make my own decks. One of the most charming things about Magic to me was the ability to create my own wacky creations. Sometimes they did well.. and sometimes I would spend 20 minutes wondering why I can't get a land to save my life! :(

Another nice thing about the game is that it is a bit more balanced. I don't have to worry about those douche bags who had 3984098290384 dollars to spend towards Magic cards. YOU KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT! Fuck your dual lands! :( I've been playing a bit of the Green/Black Elves deck in the game, and it's pretty nice. Very easy, and it was nice relearning the rules using it. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about 20 minutes of arguments about the stack! HORRAY! :D The nerd in me is fulfilled! <3

DJ Hero really pisses me off as well. I hate not doing well at a game right off.. and after a day, I have noticed some ability growth.. but overall: RAGE! I mean, it's not like I'm going to punch the game or anything. >_>... But it gets rather frustrating! I'm sure I'll have the game down in a day or two, but for now.. I'll just have lovely daydreams about punching it in the face! <3

OH BTW! I do have the Halo Reach beta, and tbh.. I don't really know how I feel about it. It just seems like to me they took a bunch of really awesome things from other awesome games, and smooshed it together in the Halo Universe. I do like rolling around though! That to me was very fun, and I think I giggled non stop for at least 45 minutes. This is generally why I have my mic on mute, so no one can see (or actually hear)the ridiculousness!

And to continue this all over the place post, I thought I would inform you guys of my love of romance novels. I find myself going to the library and looking around for something hot and juicy to read. Thankfully I read rather quickly, so it's difficult for people to catch me with these semi naughty books! I do love how mind numbing a lot of these books can be, and I really wish they had more Romantic Sci Fi to bless my book shelves. I've already exhausted my supply of Catherine Asaro novels. Most of which deal with a strong sci fi background, and just enough romance to keep me blushing. Yeah, I'm a romance novel nerd.. I CAN'T HELP MYSELF. It's rather embarrassing if I'm at an airport or something and I start blushing, or tittering at something going on in a romance novel. How embarrassing.. -_-!!!!

WCG Ultimate Gamer Audition!

Hey guys.. I thought it would be appropriate to write up a blog response to my WCG Ultimate Gamer Audition! I hope it went well.. but you never know what show producers are looking for. We will see! I know I would be an awesome addition to the show, but I know a lot of awesome people also applied!

Sam and I decided that leaving after he got off of work would be perfect for the 6 hour drive to Atlanta. He was expecting to get off at work and home by 9:30.. but alas, the fates did not agree with that plan. He ended up getting home at like 10:30, then realized he left his work keys on him!! So we had to drive all the way back to his job, and then we left for Atlanta. I'm not going to lie, I was pretty pissed. I can be a little bit of a biatch when I'm grumpy, and I totally was. I'M SORRY HONNY! :D Once we started on our way to Atlanta, we also had to pick up some photos for the audition package. I think I picked out some cute ones, hah. I also got some sweet fake eyelashes while we were in CVS. This is what my make up for the audition ended up looking like:

I'm not going to lie to you guys.. but I felt pretty darn sassy! :D Sam and I ended up driving about 3 hours each, and by the time we reached the hotel, I WAS POOPED! OMG! I was SO TIRED! ARGH! We ended up staying up all night to drive, and we got to Atlanta around 5AM, auditions were at 9AM.. so I decided to sleep for 30 minutes, then spend the rest of the time prepping myself up. We also went and ate a very nom nom breakfast at the hotel.

The First Audition:

Lemme just start off by saying that I like to be early to any sort of Audition like this.. so having only run on 30 minutes of sleep.. I WAS VERY HYPED UP! I was on a sugar high, and when that happens.. I have a tendency to get a little shaky at first, hah. Sam and I ended up hopping downstairs at like 8:30AM, and we met up with a couple of the other people applying. Lemme just tell you that being super shaky can be a little tricky when you're playing.. persay.. Forza 3. LOL! And of course, it was the first game I got to sit down with! I was really hoping I would end up with MW2 first.. but alas.. Forza 3 was my BANE. I was also in the very first group of people applying! I think I played okay, we were not allowed to change any of the settings, so I think I sobbed a little. But like.. only a little you know! GOTTA KEEP STRONG! After that, we had a little mini interview. I think I was overly giggly, and a little toooo excited. I felt like such a goober, but it was a lot of fun. The man doing the casting also had amazing shoes.. :O

I did end up getting a call back though.. so I guess my excitement was a good thing! It was probably around 10AM at this time, so Sam and I decided to check out Atlanta a bit! We ended up first going to lunch with Chickamungus and her crew, and it was DELICIOUS! It was an amazing pizza place! It was also outside and had a rather lovely fountain. It was pure noms. I really hope Chikamungus and her hunny makes it! They were awesome! :D

After lunch, Sam and I decided to go check out the Atlanta aquarium. That place.. was FRIGGEN PACKED. I HATE CHILDREN BTW. Ugh.. so many little monsters squealing everywhere. T_T! It was still pretty awesome though. I think my favorite part was the Beluga whales playing.. They also took HUGE POOOPS in front of the viewing mirror. I was like GROSS BUT SO AWESOME! How often do you getta see a whale take a huge poo? :\! After the aquarium, Sam and I hit up Fudruckers. I would just like to say.. that IT WAS TASTY! I wish we had some Fudruckers here~! :(

(We also went to the mall.. so I could purchase a new outfit for the second audition, and I am very pleased at what we ended up getting!)

After we ate dinner.. I seriously PASSED OUT! I took a nice hot shower, cuddled up in that huge bed, and watched some Law and Order. I woke up at 6AM that next morning, and filled out some paperwork for the second audition! I was squealing like a little kid that morning, lol. I was SO EXCITED!!

I went downstairs about 30 minutes early for my audition, and they were running a little bit late! I thought it was awesome though.. since we all got to chill in the waiting room area, and we had some hardcore discussion. Some of it was about female gaming.. and how some females are not as dedicated as men. I LOLed pretty hard. When I was very competitive.. I was looking at 70+ hours a week on Warcraft 3. I know for my training for WCG Ultimate Gamer, I was doing at least 50+. We also got into an argument about nature vs nurture and female gaming. I'm just going to say it was pretty intense, lol. AND I LIKED MY BARBI'S OKAY. Geeze.. I can put make up on, and do my hair.. and still play a decent game of MW2, Halo 3, Forza.. YOU NAME IT! I know I don't dress and act like a normal gamer, but I can nerd it up with the best of them! :P

The second interview went well.. hopefully! I just tried to keep upbeat, smile a lot.. and not play with my hair too much. I'm rather addicted to twirling my hair.. :(! I would just like to say that doing this audition process was a TON OF FUN! It was great meeting people who are into gaming.. that actually live in the Florida-Georgia area!

I personally think I would do awesome on a show such as WCG Ultimate Gamer! I got the looks.. personality, and I'm a DARN SASSY GAMER OKAY? Plus.. I'm Sunie! YOU DON'T KNOW ME! I've only been playing console games for about 6 months.. but I'm learning fast! But.. I know a lot of awesome people applied, and I hope they go far as well! <3

Well, I would first like to say that I hope you're not mad at me for not posting in like.. a whole month! But I do have to say that it has been a pretty eventful couple of days. I just recently got back from PAX East, aka.. my first event as a Frag Doll Cadette!

Lemme just say that I got WICKED sick. I haven't been sick in a long time, and I got absolutely wrecked. It did snow, which was pretty awkward. I haven't seen snow since 2007 I think. I remember that event fondly, it was in Chicago, and it was my very first gaming event (Where I competed). It was kind of nice to remember that while I was participating at PAX East.

But lemme just say.. PAX EAST WAS FREAKING AWESOMEEEE!! OH MY GOSSSSSSH!!! I met so many amazing people, and it was probably one of the funnest events I've had the chance to work. It was nice demoing a game I really liked, and I definitely see myself playing RUSE a lot more.. especially after it gets released.

But in other news.. Tryouts for for Ultimate Gamer are in a little over a week. I'm pretty stoked, I do however.. do not feel as trained up as I could be. I have been messing around with a lot of different games, and have been concentrating a lot more on shooters.. but I really feel lacking in the Sports games, and the Fighting game section. I guess I shall mess around with Street Fighter a bit more.. but a sports game? ARHGHHGHE!! I don't know which one to go for! I'm thinking maybe NCAA, since I actually like basketball. I guess I'll download some demos on XBOX Live... T_T!!!

OH WELL!! It's really late, and I still have a cold. I think I'm going to try and rest now, I promise I'll work on updating a lot more. I feel like such a goober for not writing more!

Oh yeah.. I've also been watching a lot of Weeds and Dead Like Me. Both shows are pretty dark, but I have been digging on them both pretty hard! :D Be sure to follow me on Twitter if you haven't already: @SunieLove

So.. It's been a while since I've posted, but I think I have a good enough excuse..

I'm in the middle of moving.

I really don't think there is anything worse then moving. I know I'm only moving a couple buildings over, but it's still SOOOO much work! It's surprising how much stuff you need, even though you lived fine without it for so long. We purchased a TON of stuff.. and I can't wait to post pictures! I'm also very excited about my new roommates. One of them is my sister, Joyce.. and the other is her best friend Lynnsey. I've known Lynnsey since she was 13, and I think she's 22 now! Joyce is also the same age. They both also like to play video games.. O_O!!! I'm pretty excited. We three also work together, ahhh! Hopefully we won't have too many shifts together, I know how awkward it can get when you see the same people tooooo often!

Some other awesome stuff happened this week!!!! I got accepted into the Frag Doll Cadette program.. I would just like to say AHHH OMG ZKLSJEJKFM<>E!! I'm pretty sure that's also how I sounded when I found out. I seriously think I almost peed myself, and I'm very excited about the opportunities and the amazing people I'm sure to meet. It was also a semi melancholy experience though. A couple girls that I really expected to get chosen, didn't. I was pretty boggled. :( All of them are beautiful, intelligent, and a lot of fun to talk too. I would have loved to have been in the same class as them. I'm for sure they will get it next time though! :3

I'm pretty pooped for now.. so I'm sorry this is so short. I'll be sure to post more soon. Maybe about something silly... yeaaaaaah! I think I'm off to go play some HoN, or chit chat it up! I wish the forums were a bit more active.. I'm addicted to foruming, lol.

Oh yeah.. I'm also using a new keyboard. The last one I spilled Sprite in.. then Water.. then some more Sprite. So.. we had to retire poor mister keyboard, and upgrade to a 11$ Logitech one, lol. I should really look into getting a nice gaming PC, but I always feel guilty spending so much on something I can get at Walmart, lol! :3

Breakfast, Sleeping Early, BORED

So, as you can tell by this title, I have 3 things I'm going to go over in this blog. None of them kind of deal with video games (Unless of course, I fill my useless day with Video Games?????).

Break that fast:

So lately, I have been pretty addicted to breakfast foods. I know they are terrible for me.. Filled with delicious cheese, nomnom breads, and sweets of course! So for the last 2 days, I first hit up REALLYREALLYREALLY bad for me fast food breakfast.

Sunday, I went to Burger King, cause I really had a craving for a Croissan'wich, and yes.. IT WAS MAD GOOD! I was a little disturbed though, because they did have a double version of it. It looked like 15 lbs of bacon, cheese, and eggs. It kind of grossed me out. I also picked up some cini minis, and french toast sticks. It was my birthday, so I deemed it okay to fill myself up on terribad foods. I wasn't able to eat the cini minis though, since they were small circular shaped rocks covered in sweet sweet icing. I threw those little bastards away. All in all, I rate my experience there a 5 out of 10. I think it only got the 5, just because I was craving it. Before we went to church when I was a kid, we would always stop by Burger King and partake. :)

Monday.... was MCDONALDS MONDAY! All I remember getting from them was the steak bagel breakfast sandwich. I was pretty impressed, since the steak (?? :D) was pretty tender, and tasty. They also gave me this.. BURNING HOT OIL OW HASHBROWN FROM HELL. After it cooled down, it tasted good! I also got one of the McFrappe drinks, which to me sounds like Mcfap. Hm, thats kind of also gross if you think about it.. Since its like creamy, and semi weird looking from all the whipped cream they douse it in. I give them a 6/10 since I didn't really have to go out of my way to get it, and it tasted good. I felt very fat after eating there though. They should put a piece of lettuce on that bagel so I don't feel like a complete piggy after eating there! :(

Today was Panera Tuesday! I had a Ham Egg and Cheese Blue Berry Bagel. After reading what I just typed, that also sounds really gross. However, it was REALLY TASTY! I was like OMGOMEOMOGMGGG IM GOING TO EAT YOU! And I did, it was FREAKING AMAZING! Uhggghghhgg. I'm still thinking about that breakfast sandwich now. I was however a bit weirded out after eating there. I was about 6:30AM, and the place was semi full. The strange thing though.. was that it seemed like everyone knew each other. Every time someone would come in, a ton of people would be like, "HEY JIM! HOWS THE KIDS?" I was like.. WTF IS THIS? I don't really live in a small town, and I'm sure there is like 15 Panera's in a 20 mile radius, so it was really weird. I also think I took someone's usual booth, cause I totally got some dirty stares. It might also have been because I was half everyone's age there. I also purchased something called a Cobblestone. It looked so shiny under the dome lights, and I really have no clue what's in it. I think I tasted a raisin? 7/10! It would have been higher if there wasn't so many old freaks in there.

Sleeping Early:

WHYYYY! I fell asleep at 6PM yesterday, and woke up at 6AM today. ISNT THAT MESSED UP? I pretty much wasted my whole night. I mean.. I do feel refreshed, but it sucks being awake this early. I guess I'll get some chores done, since we are moving in about a week!

Not having any idea to do with the day:

I guess I'll go to the bank? Maybe I'll go get some art supplies! I have been having this strange urge to paint video game themed paintings. Maybe something that says L2P NOOB! I wonder how my non dorky friends would feel about that. The would probably lol at me, and then ask me to cook them chili or something. F THAT! Hmm.. Maybe I'll make chili tonight, that does sound rather nom. I also think I'll be putting the bookcase that we bought together. Currently our closet is filled with our book collection.. This is some 300 books. I also can't get into my closet. This enrages me!

New Books:
Okay, so I go to Walmart, and I pick a book that seems interesting. The prices are really good, and they do carry some decent authors. After I finish the book I got yesterday, I'll be sure to post a blog about what I thought about it. I will hint that I did pick it because of the cover. Yes.. Yes I am one of those people that judges books by the cover. I LIKE NICE BOOK ART KTHX!

So.. all in all, I'm still waiting for March to begin. I can't wait to hear about the Frag Doll Cadette Casting. I WANT I WANT! ARGH! I am also excited about doing a mini Skype party. I know a lot of the girls haven't met a Frag Doll before, so it'll be a good chance for them too! I'm sure all of us have a lot of questions we want to ask! :D

I really hate that I turned it in the last day.. it reminds me a bit of college all over again, lol. I do feel pretty accomplished though, I never made a video before. I'm just going to say that the quality completely sucked! I borrowed a webcam from my sister, and I'm pretty sure she got it at Walmart for 10 dollars.

Freaking Heroes of Newerth

Okay.. so I'm sure not many of you have heard of the game Heroes of Newerth.. but seriously.. its my personal addiction!! AHH! I've been like.. playing at least 7 hours a day. I feel bad for my boyfriend, lol. Each game in HoN takes about 30-60 minutes, and it's very similar to like.. WoW Arena. The game is still currently in Beta, but a couple HoN teams have already picked up sponsorship. They also have a complete voice casting site, a ton of tournaments, and over 30,000 people playing at each moment. The game was based on Warcraft 3 DotA, a game I played for about 5 years.

It's very refreshing to see this game done beautifully. The graphics are amazing, the sounds/music are a pleasure, and I'M SO STOKED TO NOT BE PLAYING ON WARCRAFT 3 ANYMORE! God.. Battle.net had a tendency to make me rage. :3

I'm worried because it feels like HoN is taking away from the training that I should be doing for Ultimate Gamer.. but this game is just...... so intense! Argh!

Also.. I have been listening to a lot of Korean music lately, specifically The Wonder Girls. Nice poppy music in a language I semi understand. Overall.. a pleasurable experience.

I'm also sorry that this blog makes no damn sense, and it's all over the place.

Tomorrow is also my personal deadline for my Frag Doll Cadette application. I have tried multiple attempts at making a video.. but I have COMPLETELY SUCKED AT ALL OF THEM! Every video I find something like.. awkwardly wrong.. For example: I curled my hair for Valentine's day.. so I was thinking, "Damn, this would be a great opportunity to be sassed up!" Yeah.. so after I recorded the video, I was watching it.. and I had like one curl stand stupidly away from my head.. Like someone was holding it up or I styled it stupidly..

Frag Doll Cadette Program

OH SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiii.....

It's that time again.. well, it's not really that time again, it's more like semi kinda like that last time thingie (I understand that this didn't make any sense at all, I haven't slept for like.. 24 hours), where they did recruitment for the Frag Dolls... Actually, they are doing recruitment for the Frag Doll Cadette Program! G_G!

I've been following the Frag Dolls for a while now, and I'm pretty stoked they are doing applications for this program. It's a great chance to not only get some great industry experience, but I'm sure it'll be a great way to meet people and make new friends! To be honest, I didn't really feel like I had a lot of the background experience in gaming to apply last year, when they did casting.. But in the last year, I've gotten my hands on a 360, PS3, and a Wii.

I feel like I actually have a decent gaming background now. I've always been more of a PC gamer, and I always kinda viewed the Frag Dolls as more console gamers.. I know they've done mad tourneys for Rainbow Six.

I've also met some really cool people while on the forums.. one girl is named Melonie, and I really REALLY hope she gets it! She's so nice, and mad supportive! I've gotten the chance to play some Halo 3 with her, and she's really good at that as well! She's recruiting in the PMS Halo 3 division, and since I'm already in the division, I was like WTF HAY!

I'm a little nervous to do the video thingie.. To only have 3 minutes seems kinda short. I also wish they were not doing a random draft.. I feel like I have a good background in a lot of stuff.. especially gaming related events, etc.. so I hope they are at least a little picky when they narrow it down! :D

And I still owe you people some info on my Street Fighter izzle.. Yeah, so I've been digging on that game as well. I'm really into Zangief! Something about that manly hairy chest just gets me going.. :D

Also.. Modern Warfare is easily one of the funnest games I've picked up in a while. I find it challenging, and very entertaining. I also enjoy watching people playing it, which is strange.. since I don't generally enjoy watching people playing fps. Unless of course, it's at a tourney or something. But when I'm sitting at home, on the couch.. I don't want to watch someone play a video game for 45 minutes. I could be watching some sort of reality tv show instead.. :D

Modern Warfare, and a little Street Fighter

So.. I officially tried out Modern Warfare 2, about 2 days ago. I thought I would be able to hold out, but then I thought about it.. Will this game be helpful to my training..

And so, I quickly asked my roommate if I could borrow his copy. He said yes, ofc.. And so I put the game in, and I got owned for about 15 minutes. I was so used to the mechanics of Halo 3, that this game seriously wrecked my life. I've been playing it for a couple hours a day for the last 2 days, and I seriously love this game! It reminds me when I first put Halo 3 in, and how addicted I was to the challenge. I hate being bad at any sort of video game, so now I'm working on perfecting my game! I played with PMS Seltzer a bit yesterday, and I went positive in my first game. I was pretty happy, I also got a 5 kill streak! YAY!

So back to gaming.. and I still gotta write something about Street Fighter.

CES in Vegas!

About a week ago, I came home from a trip. The trip was to Las Vegas for CES! I just want to say that it was easily one of the best trips I've been on. Not only was the event awesome, the product a ton of fun to demonstrate, but we had a great group of people go. I've known a lot of people who went to this event for a while now, and it's a lot of fun to see them after so long. I think the last event I saw a lot of them at was more then a year ago.

Another perk of the trip was the awesome hotel stay. We stayed at the Paris Hotel, and it was AMAZING! They had a creperia.. and we seriously ate there everyday for breakfast.. and in some cases lunch and dinner. I will always remember the banana and peanut better crepe. It was SO GOOD!!?!?1 ARGH! I could almost see myself flying out there just to have a crepe again. :)!

We got to demonstrate a product known as the Peregrine. It is made by Iron Will Innovations, and it's a pretty sweet wearable interface. It really worked well with HoN, and DotA. I think I played 32 hours worth of HoN and DotA over a period of like.. 4 days. It was pretty nuts, but it was also a lot of fun. The nice thing is I don't really need to use the keyboard while playing the games. So instead of using keyboard hotkeys, I was actually able to set different letters onto different points on the glove. It really helped with fatigue, and it kept my hand slightly warm. We did a ton of stuff in like.. 4 days.. And it took me a long time to recover. I still feel a little beat up. We did a little drinking, a little betting, but in the long run.. the best part was seeing old friends.

Before I conclude this little blog post.. I thought I would share a slightly sad and funny story.

After demoing all day.. I hate getting like gross feet, so I use these like.. Shea butter infused socks. I know it sounds kind of strange; however, it keeps my feet soft and baby like. Your feet should not be ugly, imo. So, I put these stupid brightly colored pink socks on my feet and I crawl into bed. In the middle of the night, I get the urge to use the restroom, so I hop off the bed.

BAM!

I own myself. I end up twisting my ankle and sitting on the floor much like Peter Griffin, slowly clasping my ankle making noises that sound pretty darn awkward when I think about it now. I'm still rather surprised Kris didn't wake up. Also.. instead of using the restroom, I say screw it.. crawl back in bed, and go to sleep. When I woke up, I felt like such a noob, lol. I even brought a bunch of like really cute shoes with me. :(

I was lucky enough to limp around Las Vegas for like.. 4 days. O_O'

WCG Ultimate Gamer.. Numero Dos!

I don't know if many of you watched the show last year on Sci Fi channel.. but there was a show called WCG Ultimate Gamer. I remember signing onto Ventrillo once a week to watch the show on Hulu with a couple of my friends, mostly Marcou, TC, and Cyrus. We would rant, rave, and thoroughly enjoy each and every episode. We savored each little drama filled tidbit, and we would often find ourselves arguing in favor of our favorite contestants.

After going to CES in Las Vegas this year (To do some more demo work for Peregrine!), I found out they are indeed having a season 2.

Let me just say one thing...

I might be nice, but I am the best.. and I know this. :)

I'm sure there are some games out there that people can probably beat me in.. but give me 1 week with any game.. and I'm sure I could give you a delicious challenge. :D

I have officially started my training for this said show... Not only dieting.. (Mind you, I worked rather hard for this disturbing physique) but I am also working rather diligently on different games.. I am already pretty decent at most of the games like DJ Hero, DDR, Rock Band, and Guitar Hero (music sync games) and on most FPS (The funny thing is.. I've only been playing most console FPS games for about 4 months, and I'm already wayyy better then a lot of people :D)and racing games (I'm a star at drunken Mario Kart) that are on the 360.. but I'm not gonna lie to you, my lovely blog.. But I really am lacking in the sports and fighting departments. Thankfully, I have roommates who are all very good at those two types of games, and I'm sure they are more then willing to play me until I can destroy them. :D

Give me 2 months, and I will shock everyone. :3

Except maybe like.. Barbie Jewelry maker.. That game enrages me. :\

I'm not gonna lie, having this many puppies is pretty daunting.. It has semi cut into my gaming time. The nice thing is though, the puppies like to sleep 2 hours at a time, so I get a decent amount of time to join some games, maybe practice some straffing.. You know, sassy stuff.

Sky recently had puppies.. Yeah, puppies. That means: NO SLEEP! I can barely sleep.. I fret a lot about these little puppies! I think I would explode if something happened to one of them.

She had 8 of them; however, the vet only expected 4-6. I'm just glad we found homes for all of them already! 2 of them were born on Saturday November 29th, and the rest were born on Sunday November 30th! The birthing started around 11:45, where two of them promptly popped out.. Luckily, my friend Lindie was there to help with the birth.. Sky was pretty freaked out, so she didn't get rid of the sack that covered them.. And tbh, I was freaking grossed out, lol. Lindie has had dogs that had puppies before, so she removed the sacs and cut the cords! IT WAS SO GROSS, but SO AWESOME! It was hard not to watch.

I'll be updating with pictures soon, I have to find my camera cable!

Well.. let's just say I hope people don't unadd me on their XBOX Live list..

I went the distance.. and got a Snuggie! YES! A Snuggie...

It also came with a book light.. this excites me, because the book light I currently uses has a tendency to run out of power after about 2 hours. :D:D:D

The Snuggie I also got.. happens to be in leopard print! WHOO!! So not only does it keep me warm, it's pretty darn cute too. I'm pretty stoked. I feel like a complete nerd, but after one of my roommates got one, I wanted one.

I'm using it right now, and it is pretty nice to be able to type, and not worry about having cold hands or feet.

I feel so gay. :D

First off.. I'm gonna give you a little warning about this blog.. It's all about gaming, and a majority of that gaming is about Halo 3..

I don't really understand why I'm finding myself writing a blog at the ever so impressive hour of.. 5:06AM (especially one about gaming).. I just played a L4D2 demo on Live with SapphireWarrior, and miss PMS Lollicake, all in all.. it was fun; however, I found myself getting rather sick. I suppose it was motion sickness or something. My body was not willing to let me adjust to engine L4D2 uses I guess..

I have been playing a ton of Halo 3 recently, and I have a semi-funny, semi-crazy story to tell. I guess it isn't really crazy unless you understand the complete circumstances, so I guess I shall.

My team and I ended up getting placed against other people that we knew.. It was kind of random, since MLG had like.. 3000 people playing. This was our first team scrim I guess, and I was SUPER SUPER SUPER nervous.. I really despise losing. It's like stubbing your toe, you know it's gonna hurt.. and you know you're going to be really pissed. So, we start playing, and its Team Slayer on The Pit. I was like, "OH SHIT"! We started off pretty strong, but then.. PMS Texas Angel aka My BR is Girly, ended up dropping. I thought we were completely screwed.. however, with the help of our awesome coach (Luv Mee Luv Mee) we ended up winning! He pretty much carried SapphireWarrior and me in his little back pack. I don't think he understands how much he has helped me learn.. (Halo wise!) and I hope he understands how much I appreciate the help he has given the team, and me. And, it seriously sucks so bad to play Halo without him! XD

Since we won that game.. I'm not gonna lie, I felt like I was high.. I was so STOKED! We then proceeded to go into matchmaking again, and guess who we got teamed up against?! THEM AGAIN! I was like OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOD LOL!!!!!!!!! And this game ended up being King of the Hill on Construct. Personally, Construct has to be my favorite map. It's probably the only one that I know a majority of the call outs on, and I find the gold lift to be rather lovely. Luv Mee ended up telling us a pretty good strat, and we used it. We also ended up winning that game too! PMS Texas Angel is SOOO GOOOOOODD at gathering up hill points. She's the most delightful objective player I have ever met, keke.

Finally, we decided to play one more match.. and guess what? YEAH YOU GUESSED IT! We got matched up against them again! 3rd time is a charm I guess! This time it ended up being Odd Ball on Heretic.. I have a love hate relationship with this map.. I think it's rather lovely, but I fucking hate stickies. I HATE THEM SO MUCH! I always end up getting pegged straight in the face with them, and I get SO MAD!! I'll cut it short, and just say we won again.

It felt like a very productive day yesterday in Halo 3. Today not so much. I'm feeling rather down about some stuff. I hope it all works out. :( I hate drama, especially since I'm almost 24 years old. It's so weird to know that in a couple months I'll be 24. I feel rather old.

I also don't really enjoy Halloween that much.. other then the candy and horror movies.

I can't wait for Thanksgiving and Christmas.. I think I wanna get a part time job at some sort of clothing store.

Hopefully this said clothing store will have great discounts..

I kinda want some UGG boots, even though I feel they are over priced.

They do however.. seem very soft.

I also have been enjoying Borderlands.. I have it on the PC if anyone wants to play.

I enjoy sniping in Borderlands, where as in Halo.. it's not as fun.

Stupid phone..

Yeah, so the phone decided to never work.. I feel pretty darn guilty, but thankfully.. One of our roommates had an older cell phone that he wasn't using, so Sam was able to pop the sim card in there.. Thank goodness! I currently have a pink cell phone, so I felt rather guilty every time Sam had to borrow it. People have a tendency to tease when they see a guy with a pink cell phone.

In other news:

Halo 3: ODST

Sam and I beat the game via CO-OP on Heroic. I knew we should have done Legendary, but I just wanted to hear the story first. I'm sure Sam and I will revisit this game sometime in the future, and try the campaign again. I thought the game was a little short, lasting only around 5-6 hours. If you think about the price of a brand new game, 5-6 hours isn't really the most cost efficient.. However, I didn't have all the maps in Halo 3, so the extra disk that contained all the maps really really really helped out. If you already have Halo 3 and all the maps, I suggest maybe borrowing ODST for the campaign. If you're new to Halo 3, like me!, then go for it. It was a decent investment over all.

PMS Clan

So I recently applied to the Halo 3 division of PMS Clan.. I'm not gonna lie, I'm so glad that I applied! All of the girls in the division are so nice, and very talented.. I feel bad that I suck at Halo so much, but I'm sure I'll get better in no time.. I'm officially on my 2nd week of Halo. I feed like a complete noob, and it really drives me crazy. I find myself slamming my fists into my pillow, demanding that it gives me the secrets to Halo 3. IT WILL OR I'LL REMOVE ITS STUFFINGS!

The Gym

Yeah.. so I've decided that I am completely unhealthy, and I am going to the gym daily now. The nice thing is, the elliptical actually has a book stand on it, so it's rather easy to read and exercise.. This intrigues me, and I find exercise a lot easier when I can read. I've been currently reading a lot of Catherine Asaro, and I am pretty obsessed.

Today.. well.. last night, I did the most stupid embarrassing silly dumb lame ass thing ever: I did the laundry.

That's not that bad part though.. In a pair of my boyfriend's pants was his new cell phone.

KSJEJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJJESE! Yeah.. I got freaking owned. I'm hoping that if I try out some of the things that I've read online it'll work.. I currently have the phone sitting in a bag of rice.. Yeah. A bag of rice. Hopefully this bag of rice will champion me, and own the liquid rape that is currently residing in the phone.

360 Action!

So.. I've started the transition.. The transition from playing hours and hours of PC games.. to playing hours and hours of console games. It's been a weird week to say the least.

I've recently started playing a lot of 360 games, including Rainbow Six Vegas, a ton of Halo 3, and a ton of Rock Band. I'm not gonna lie, I'm really sucking the proverbial 360 weener. I'm finding it pretty hard to transition from using a keyboard and mouse to just a controller. The great thing is that I love a good challenge. I love the fact that I suck so bad. I love the fact that I really have to work hard to get good at something.

I remember when I first started really playing competitively. I've always had consoles at my house.. a N64, or a Gamecube... but I never really had a chance to play the hardcore next gen consuls. I found it really easy to get into PC Games, especially when I first went to college. I still remember the shit talk that I had to endure and how much it made me want to get good. The great thing about the challenges that I faced is that I lead me to something that I really love: Competitive Gaming. I still remember the first event that I went too, and the 3v3 DotA match that went on. We really owned some guys. ;3

I just hope that if I keep really working hard at this, I'll be able to play competitively some more. I really miss the adrenaline rush, and the competition. I hate being last place.

It's been a long time!

It has been a long time since I've blogged, and I've also been very busy! I apologize to anyone who might have ever read it, and if you were ever interested in my day to day goings.. It has been a very busy month.. With Gamescom and PAX under my belt, I'm still trying to recover. I guess I'll go over each event and then you can make you own judgments about me. :D

Gamescom - Cologne, Germany August 2009

First off, lets just say that this event was insane! I went to go do coverage for the League of Legends DotA Tournament. It was a ton of fun, and a ton of work. I can't even begin to figure out how much time I spent on the computer streaming matches, updating match stats, and just trying to stay sane. The event itself was nuts. With over 100,000 nerdy german gamers, I was pretty happy. I also tried out blood sausage!

1) The plane ride was pretty daunting. It was the first time I have been out of the country ever since I was a little baby. Also, this was a long ass plane ride. I think it was 10-11 hours total of riding in planes. I really distinctly remember how lame the first part of the ride was. I was sitting next to this heavier fellow, and his huge leg was pressed against mine. His leg was also sweaty. I am still disturbed to this day on how gross this was.

2) The sandwiches in Germany were freaking awesome.. and so was the sausage. And so was anything else that was tasty. God.. I still remember the super awesome strawberry coladas in the hotel bar. And death by chocolate! ;D

3) I got to spend time with my best friend Neha. I actually went up to her home in New Jersey before the flight. We had a ton of fun, and it's always fun sharing such a great experience with a friend!

4) I got to watch some Starcraft 2. OMGOMGOMGOMOGMMOGMSQUEEEL! I was pretty excited, and I was super impressed with the Blizzard booth. If I had more time, I would have def stood in line to play. :(

5) It was really cool seeing all the people who supported DotA. When I saw all of the people who were really stoked to watch some DotA games, it really put a great twist on the event for me. I know DotA has a huge following in Eurpoe, but to see it in person was amazing.

PAX

Now lemme tell you something about Pax.. ITS FREAKING AWESOME! I also got the chance to demo the Peregrine glove for hundreds of fellow nerds (You should go check out the product at www.theperegrine.com). Lemme just say that I want one so bad, and I hope I can get one soon! It was a lot of fun to demo, and it made playing DotA a lot of fun. I can't wait to try it out with HoN or LoL. Since this event was a couple days ago, it'll be easier for me to remember stuff.

Day 1) I landed in Seattle at 10:30AM, and I met up with FearDarkness and Demon. They are two pro DotA players for Team EG. They were also super nice, and a lot of fun! When I didn't have my card to check into the hotel room, they let me crash on the couch in theirs. Thank goodness, since I was so freaking tired from the plane ride. After we got to the hotel, we also went and checked out the city some. Demon really wanted some Mexican food, so we managed to find this mall that had a great food court. Later in the day, I went again with Alex and Marcou.. I had a very interesting and strange conversation with the man who made my crepe.. It had to deal with bjork, magic the gathering, and what the heck Pax was. I was kind of surprised since they have these little PAX signs all over Seattle.. Later in the night we also got to do some interviews regarding our views on the Peregrine. I was pretty stoked, and I was so excited to try out the glove.

Day 2) I woke up at like.. 4:30AM from being so excited. I was going to PAX! I was in Seattle! And I got to sleep in a super awesome comfortable bed! It was going to be a good day. We ended up making it to the event, and doing some more interviews. I also finally got to try out the glove, and I was very surprised. It was a lot easier then I thought, and it was pretty comfortable. The day went pretty fast, and I also got a lot of chances to walk around the event. The Peregrine booth was pretty awesome, and it was very fun talking to people about the product. I also seemed to lose my voice a lot quicker then I thought.

Day 3) Another early morning for me, and another day full of excitement. This day was also the day that I found the super awesome bakery that was near the hotel. It was so gooooooooooooooooooooood. I had a Pear and Almond Briosh. It was the most amazing thing I ever tried in my life. It's kinda funny to me how that was one of the things that really stood out to me that day. I wish they had little bakery's like that in Jacksonville. Today I also got some more chances to walk around. I also got the chance to play Starcraft 2, and some Diablo 3. I was in heaven. My voice was still getting owned. :(

Day 4) Sunday! Sunday Sunday! This was also the last day of the event, and I was having a great time. I was also losing my voice very quickly this day. I still managed to pull through it.. My objective was to give to best darn demo that I could. It was pretty easy though.. when you actually enjoy using a product, it's easy to show it off. During the event, I got a lot of chances to hang out with people I haven't seen since last December at Fire in Ice in Chicago. This includes the ever so awesome Beast Soul! I also got to meet some amazing people from Peregrine! They were all super nice, and a lot of fun to hang out with.. That night we also went out and celebrated a birthday. I made sure to get a card and get everyone to sign it. Everyone deserves a card on your birthday.

I wonder how many times I typed super nice.. or super awesome.. -_-

Day 5) Lets just say in the period of 24 hours.. I was at the airport for all of it. It was hell on earth, and I finished 2 and a half books. To be honest though, I do like airports. Its like a mall that has a bunch of tasty food that I can get to go, and a lot of book stores. I lovelovelovelovelove book stores, and I hate that when I go in one, I can't help but spend tons of money.

When I got home, nothing was more awesome then taking a shower, and waiting for my honey to get home from work. I remember being and still being so happy to see my Sammy.

Nothing is better then coming home after being away for so long. There is something about sleeping in your own bed, and spending times with the ones you love.

OH GOD CATS WTF

Okay... so I thought today I would blog about this awesome adventure I had... Well, it wasn't really awesome, but it was something that I did do. This is pretty new since I generally prefer to like not do anything, especially if I have a cold. I even skipped out on work today since I could barely talk. Losing voice can go suck on something rancid. :(!

Well, we have this issue in our neighborhood... well its not too bad. We recently moved into this new apartment complex and I happen to like it a lot!!!!!!!!!!! It has everything I want, well... we do have a minor issue with a slightly leaking lower level ceiling. I personally don't know how or why it does this, especially since it is on the lower level. The place we moved into is two stories............................ >_>

Oh well.

Basically, today I decided I would take pictures of the cats that happen to chill out right next to our apartment building. There is many cats. Not like.. one or two cats, but like.. 10-15 cats. Our next door neighbor is rather old, so she feeds the cats for comfort or something. Since she leaves like large amounts of food outside, we also get some sweet visitors. I will show some of the pictures I took and you can guess who the awesome visitor is.

Also, for some reason many of the cats are orange (and pissed off looking, lol). Probably brothers and sisters.

I suppose it has been a long time since I have blogged. I’ve determined in this last couple of these weeks have been very difficult without a video card. I do not suggest living without a video card. Luckily, my friend bought a new video card and gave us his old one… THANK GOODNESS! I was going nuts.

I thought I would blog about something that occurred a couple years ago. I once wrote a blog about a place called The Hub. I don’t really care to relink to the blog since I’m really really really lazy. Oh well… The Hub was basically a lan gaming room at the university I was going to. We would all frequent this gaming haven, and this was also the first place that I was introduced to hardcore gaming.

Today at work I was talking a little bit about this place. One thing that I also learned about during my intro to gaming was that girls are often the target of abuse. I’m not talking about shittalking, (I don’t really consider this abuse since gaming + people = shittalking.) I am talking about the large array of super creepy sketchy douches that feel the need to like… touch you. I’m not talking about like BAD TOUCH BAD TOUCH, but more like… little subtle touches. The little brush of the arm, or maybe a slight brush of the bodies as one crosses the room. Basically… just super creepy stuff.

I’ll always remember this one situation that has like… completely branded my brain. It has completely dug itself into my brain and will never leave. I was playing an epic game of DotA, and I felt my hair being touched. I personally dislike being touched. I don’t really like germs or people, loljk! But basically… This one dude held a strand of my hair and rubbed it together.

UGH HSJHEJA! It was so gross. I remember not being able to move since I was so disturbed. I was thinking… WHO THE HECK IS TOUCHING ME? Not even me… but my hair. Freaking… I didn’t even know the guy. I was like a deer stuck in the headlights. I’m pretty sure my hero died during that circumstance too. It still weirds me out to this day.

Okay, this blog is going to totally suck, but I haven't really had enough time to form coherent thoughts. So instead of writing something totally awesome and innovative, I'm just gonna write down a bunch of random thoughts. Or, well.. I will most def write about a very interesting event that occurred over ventrillo.

Today at work, I determined that everyone else is entirely too crazy. I had a woman come into work, and talk to me for about 20 minutes on how Whataburger was giving away free burgers. She even expressed to me her rage about having her hand stamped. I guess she really wanted a burger. She then also was very impressed with our selection of conversion boxes. There is a whole selection of...... 1 type.

My schedule for work totally sucks for the next week. I have a feeling that I will be posting a rageful blog about how terrible retail sucks. Oh golly.. it sucks so hard.

When I was younger, I walked into a tree while saying hi to a boy I liked. His name was Kyle, and he was the first 10 year old to have spiky hair. I ended up passing out from the impact, and his mother carried me home. This has permanently scarred me for the rest of my life.

While we were on ventrillo a couple nights ago... There was a very interesting situation. Cyrus (Aka HeathenSpirit, aka DoP.Emperor) doesnt currently have internet at his homestead. So... he drives around looking for a net connection. This alone already sounds weird doesnt it?

Well... it totally gets weirder! Basically, our friend Matt (Aka Marcou, Aka Sandking) has recently been updating us on the Best Boob Bracket via Playboy. We all take this boob bracket very seriously, and I know my choice of best boobs is totally gonna win. GOGO MARIE MORGAN!!!!!!!! Well... I guess while Cyrus was sitting outside of some dudes house at like 2-3AM, some guy walked by Cyrus's car. The very very very visually detailed boob bracket photos were up on his computer, easily visable if you walk by.. Some guy happened to walk by with his dog and totally could see what Cyrus was looking at. He also made eye contact with Cyrus. LOL! I would have died.

I couldn't imagine how embarrasing it would be to have someone see me outside of there home with porn up on the computer.

I bet its almost embarrasing as dropping something into the toilet... especially if you didn't flush.

Now that I have started out my blog with some profanity… I thought this would be a good time (and best time) to start writing. For a while I pondered what my first blog would be about. Would it be about the romance novels that I fill my time off with, or how about something about professional gaming… or better yet why don’t I write about writing blogs? I’m sure no one writes about that!! Well… They probably do, but I’m sure it won’t be as awesome as what I’m about to write.

I will now entitle this section… HOW TO WRITE A BLOG “SUNIE SIDE UP STYLE”

Step 1) The idea behind the blog… aka WHAT AM I GONNA WRITE ABOUT??

This part is rather difficult, it is also rather annoying too. Most of the time when you try to write a blog, you have that little IM box on the bottom of your screen blinking away at you… tempting you out of your blogging stupor. This is the foul beast that will try its best to stop you from finishing what you attempted to start. You might think that this would be the perfect time to close out of AIM, but alas… do not!

I have firmly determined that this IM box will be the start to the best blogging experience of your life.

Simply randomly take one of those IM boxes… preferably the one that blinks the most at you, and write a blog about whatever the other person is saying.

BAM CREATIVITY!

Step 2) Once you have that part down…

Just write some shit.
